thought provoking! challenged several of my assumptions. this is time well spent for parents of boys of any age.

Though I'm skeptical of the premise of one universal boy experience, Raising Cain certainly made me aware of certain social and emotional pressures that my son will likely face, many of which I was never aware of because, well, I've never been a boy. I look forward to hearing my husband's perspective on the book, as well as discussing with him the healthy emotional habits we want to create together as parents and encourage in our son.
