This is my favorite novel of the 90's. Beautifully and sensitively written.

I picked this book up at random. At first it was strange, and I wasn't sure where it could possibly be going. However, this book gains some momentum once the characters are developed. I enjoyed the progression and watching them grow.
A beautiful character study. An honest depiction of an obscure family and a good read.
