I found this book strange.
A slow read for me even though I did enjoy it, it only really picked up nearer the end. But OMG WHAT AN ENDING~!!!!

This is an over the top account of the "song and dance" career of twin sisters, who are the illegitimate children of a famous Shakespearean actor, and the story of the many characters in their family. It is set in London and briefly in Hollywood and spans the years from the 1890s to the 1970s. It is both witty and comic.
