Daughter of the Nile Kristiana Gregory. purple veil, Arrow at my side. She stands as tall as my waist so I rest my hand on her back as we wander about. As usual, Neva came with me. Unlike the times when we walk side by side along the beach.

Add a CommentI loved this book when I was like 11, so much so that I still own it and intend to keep it forever, but did anyone ever notice just how creepy Mark Antony is?
Like, dang man, you're like almost thirty and she's literally half your age, and is going through puberty, so can you refrain?
I know this is supposed to be like, pseudo-historical, but could they have made her a little bit older? Even 18 would have been better, so it isn't so pervy. Or since this is a book for children, they could have, idk not written that storyline?
Other than that, I loved this book and still read it sometimes just to feel nostalgic.
Interesting take on Cleopatra's childhood.
79 CE. Teenaged Cleopatra deals with the concerns of being a young royal in a dangerous world. Written in a reflective, diary style, this historical novel provides insight into both the day to day history of Egypt and the thoughts of a young girl growing up.
I love this book so much! I love how they incorporate the history of Cleopatra the seventh but also develop her to be a character in this book.
I love this
:)
good read:)
Quite a good story of the girl queen Cleopatra, my only question is: Is it based on fact? Or did the author just write what she wanted about this amazing character?
I highly reccomend this book to all the Highcrest students. 5 stars!
Love this book. Hope others enjoy it like I have.
awesome book!! the author did a good job capturing what life would have been like for cleopatra VII
