Fascinating look at the history of design within the Star Trek series and the amazing variety of materials used, from cast-off fabrics from other costume departments, to auto upholstery, to parts from hardware & medical supply stores (latex tubing), to the most luscious and luxuriant fabrics. And the uniforms! Remember that "Picard maneuver"?
