"Years ago, family loyalty caused Fain Hauk to give up everything he loved: His military career. His planet. His fianc©♭e. Even his name. Now decades later, everything has changed. He's built a new life out of the ashes of his old, and he's vowed to never let anything threaten his loved ones again. But when old enemies align themselves with new ones, he's caught in the middle of a brutal war. And when fate throws his former fianc©♭e back into his world and she has her own agenda that includes taking his head for what he did to her years ago, more than just his life is at stake. The fate of the Ichidian universe and that of his brothers-in-arms hangs in the balance. Winner take all. It's killed or be killed, and never has the battle been more fierce...Or more fun"--

I agree with LoveChild 60. The point of reading is to find out what happens on our own. If Kelticat wants to be one of those people who skip to the end of the book to find out what happens, that's her choice. To tell everyone what too happen ruins the whole point of reading for the rest of us and is a little cruel. Thank you, LoveChild60, for taking the courage to say what we all were thinking. :)
WHY do people like
Kelticat have the need to ruin books for others? If we wanted to know what happened ahead of time, we wouldn't bother reading the book, we'd just go to the comments so YOU can tell us what happened! SHAME ON YOU!!! TSK!TSK! TSK!
I finished this November 23. I can't even say how many times it made me cry. Sherrilyn Kenyon NEVER disappoints! I'd read anything by her! Happy Reading.
I have been reading Sherrilyn Kenyon's THE LEAGUE series from the first book. I loved Born of Betrayal from the first page to the last. The love that blossoms from father to son is enough to bring tears to your eyes. Fain and Galene's story is one that you will love. What can I say about this book besides, I LOVED IT. Nothing....Looking forward to the next book in this series.
The book about Fain, Galene, Talyn, and Felicia...and friends. Mind you, I'm writing this while sleep-deprived because I couldn't put it down. Highlights include; finding out Fain is colorblind while defusing a bomb, Galene and Fain getting married while defusing same bomb, Nyk meeting his sister-in-law, nieces, and nephew while Julien rescues Nyk's wife, kids, friends, friends' kids, and parents, Talyn meeting his little sister and brother(adopted).
