"In 2027, sixteen-year-old Tegan is just like every other girl--playing the guitar, falling in love, and protesting the wrongs of the world with her friends. But then Tegan dies, waking up 100 years in the future as the unknowing first government guinea pig to be cryogenically frozen and successfully revived. I agree with one of the other commentators that I felt as if this book was missing something, and that we don't know what that something IS, exactly. I also felt as if the romance was forced and unrealistic. The concept was very interesting, however.

Quite a good book but the ending went to fast.

The idea of the book sounded great, thats obviously why I picked it out. But as the book went on my expectations were thrown abit. It ended up not being really what I wanted it to be but sometimes thats okay. Although this book didn't really do that for me.

This book is a mix of adventure and science fiction. It had a really good plot but it lacked a few things. It gave me an empty feeling. I don't know if its because I was confused or felt sorry for the character but it was just missing something. And I'm disappointed that I don't know what that something is.

Very predictable and not very original. It takes a lot from The Hunger Games. What could have been a very good book based on the original idea is just another boring book.

So so good!

Really well written, altogether a great read! Why are the most sophisticated novels in the Young Adult Science Fiction category (although this is SF, it is listed as a novel)? Because that's the way it appears to have always been, certainly so when I was a youth. Highly recommended.

I loved this book, very well written and a new and invigorating storyline. Tegan, the main character is very relatebale and you experience everythign with her, her confusion while waking up in the future and how she has to learn both how to function in this new world and ultimately, how to survive when she discovers the true intentions of her 'captors', nobody is really who they seem to be, and everyone has secrets. Looking forward to book 2

"I saw the same footage everyone else did. It didn't spark anything. It could have been a perfect stranger dying on the steps on the parliment house. But it was me. I woke up 100 years later."

“No matter how much money he'd been offered or how many glittering stars had requested duets, he hadn't sung for them.
But he'd sung for me.”

"I don't know what's going to happen with us, to us. But we had that, at least, and it was much more than nothing"
