Akira Takizawa wakes up naked outside the White House with no memories. He's got a gun in one hand, a cell phone in the other, and doesn't know if he's a good guy or not. He doesn't remember that the phone gives him instant access to ten billion yen and a woman who can make his most outlandish requests a reality. He doens't recall his connection to the ongoing missile attacks terrorizing the Japanese people -- or the part he played in the sudden disappearance of 20,000 shut-ins. He doesn't even remember he's supposed to save Japan and will be murdered if he fails. Whatever it is he's tangled up in, Takizawa's definitely in deep--and that's not even scratching the surface.

Eden of the East: Excellent series. It felt fairly fluid as like familiar nostalgia; and all the while, it seemed to hold newly nascent dynamics of that like a tabularaza, a blank slate start… and this tabularaza applying to amnesiac, main character, Takizawa; Takizawa reminds me of my attempts to not know anything in this said supposed existence. I am personally not much of a money maker or money moocher, myself; and having spent many hours of time pondering how “things” might be better appropriated from my own life’s point of view, I can see in this series, how action from one’s resolve, demonstrates one’s thought process, and the responsibility in how one’s hand guides fate… in how a nation might become better, or in how people might become better, or in how an individual might become better… And this all then matters, because one’s actions can veraciously matter and affect life and death of all. And when there are so many minds, whom having maybe no mind or maybe careless mind… maybe and perhaps, and only then: one of the whole planet’s lot… can truly save planet’s plight filled story plot… and save lot from its lingering, gangrene, green, money grubbing rot. Really good anime, I recommend watching it in Japanese with English subtitles.

Utterly Addictive, mysterious and Nerve Wracking. You will enjoy every second as this dark, mysterious and somewhat quirky animated story unfolds. However, I would only recommend this for Adults only for nudity and some scary thematic material. Loved it!
