"Andrew 'Ender' Wiggin was not the only child in the Battle School; he was just the best of the best. Card tells the story of another of those precocious generals, the one they called Bean who became Ender's right hand, in the final battle against the Buggers. Bean's past was a battle just to survive. His success brought him to the attention of the Battle School's recruiters, those people scouring the planet for leaders, tacticians, and generals to save Earth from the threat of alien invasion. The book is excellent, I've read Ender's game a year ago, but already forgot the details in it. So out of curiosity, I'm reading both books at the same time chapter by chapter - it is awesome to see the same story from two different perspectives, notice how sometimes people would understand same dialogue or situation differently. Love the book, looking forward to read The Shadows Trilogy after it

There is no doubt in my mind that Ender's Shadow will be one of your favorite reads of all time. I cannot really say whether or not this book fits with Ender's Game(as I have not read it yet) but I will most definitely be getting it as soon as I can. This book gets a 11/10, and a Would Strongly Recommend to anyone thinking about reading it, whether you have read Ender's Game or not.
