Love this book. One of the best books I've read. Isabel Allende is very gifted writer. Her prose is sublime. I once complimented her about her writing at a book signing and she humbly replied it was her translator that makes her books wonderful as she writes in Spanish. This book inspired me to read other works by Ms. Allende.
