An early book by Tapply. Lawyer Brady Coyne is asked to help his friend, Tom Baron, who is running for governor. Tom's son disappeared after his girlfriend was murdered. Brady interviews teachers at the high school and uncovers a drug ring. Characters are believable, and the plot is well drawn.
