sometimes I like a comment that is a setup for the conclusion: what the writer thought about the first part which he said about the book. sometimes I like it when that part is unwritten, and the first part is left hanging, it makes me want to read the book. I don't like when the comment writer fills the tea cup, unendingly., i.e. is too thorough in her recap. or makes an outline, like the beginning of a college paper. nobody, I mean nobody wants to read that. that's just flexing your muscles for admiration to ensue. we're not in competition here,it's a library. can't you tell the difference?

I read half of this book and it was pretty much about a child ranting on and on about how he had to write a report and he decided to write it about him and his grandfather. (a "war" they apparently had had) He kept on complaining about his ailing grandfather who's wife had passed and he had to move upstairs to the guest room because his grandfather could not get up 3 flights of stairs. (arthritis) But because his grandfather is now living with his family, he needs to find a way to get rid of him.
