Our 2.5-year-old son really enjoyed this book. The artwork is quite nice. I was a little surprised that the book seemed to leave out half of the story though. It talks about Siddhartha's time as a prince and how he came to be an ascetic, then stops. What about the part where he realized the error of that life choice as well and finds wisdom in the middle path instead? I guess Susan Roth is leaving that for a sequel.
