Really good story! Girl is orphaned so her mother's formerly-estranged family accepts her. The story is told from her perspective.

A mysterious, Zoro-like character, 'the Falcon', works behind the scenes to unite a divided Italy in the 1800's. Some historical accuracy and these details do not bog down the story.

Lots of good, entertaining characters. There is danger. There is also a threat in the house. No spice or bad language. I read it in a day. Really recommend it.
