Percy Jackson- Book 1
the book and movies are so good to see and read
This book was alsome! i have seen the Movie and the movie was waaaaay different that this book. this book was really good. i was reading the 5th book by mistake but then i went and took out this book ( this is the 1st book if you didnt know). the author of this book was so good that every word he wrote developed a picture in my mind. the words came to life! I thught that the movie was goign to be better than the book but then when i finished the book i knew this movie didnt put a lot of the parts in the book and characters because it was imposiable to flim them. i totally recomend this book to other reads beacuse this was a thriller! i love anything that have to do with fantasy so i enjoyed this book. this author gave breif descriptions of every event and he made a amazing picture with his coice of words. im glad i read this book because now i know what the movie "The Lightning theif ".have left out. right now this is the 2nd best author i admire.of corse Suzanne Collins the author of the Hunger games novels are still #1 at my list!
This book showed Percy becoming braver and fighting monsters in his quest to recover the lightning bolt for Zeus. He did not know he was a half blood in the beginning but he was able to complete his quest with much bravery.
Percy never really knew his father but when he finds out he has super powers his whole life turns upside down!
Percy Jackson is a troubled student attending Yancy Academy with ADHD and Dyslexia-well, that's the cover-up story. On a fieldtrip, his pre-algebra teacher, Mrs. Dodds, reveals her true identity as one of Hades' torturers-a Fury. Before he knows it, he gets taken to Camp Half-Blood, where he learns that the Greek myths are real, his Latin teacher, Mr. Brunner, is Chiron, that he is son of none other than the sea god, and that Zeus' master bolt has been stolen, and he is being blamed! Now he has until the summer solstice for him, Grover Underwood, and Annabeth Chase to find it and return it to Olympus (which is at the 600th floor of the Empire State) and prove his innocence...
In this awe inspiring novel about a young man named, Percy Jackson, who changed from a failing troubled student to the greatest hero of Olympus I was kept on the edge of my seat the whole time. Rick Riordan turns the dull Greek mythology into something we cannot stop ourselves from reading.
THIS BOOK WUZ MOSTLY BOUT A KID NAMED PERCY JACKSON..WHO WUZ ABANDONDED BY HIS FATHER AND HE SUDDENLY HAS A DESTINY 2 FIND THE LIGHTING BOLT AND SAVE HIS MOTHER AND RESTORE EVRYTHING 2 IT'S RITE PLACE
Percy Jackson, a demi-god with ADHD and Dyslexia, has never been through a whole year without getting exspelled. He knew he wasn't a normal person. When he was at Yancy Academy on a field trip, Mrs. Dodds, his pre-algebra teacher, turns into a monster. Percy now knows something serious is going on. After being chased by a Minotaur, he reaches a special camp, Camp Half-Blood. Will Percy survive? Read this Greek god book to find out more about Percy Jackson abnormal life.

I was barefoot since I gave my shoes to Grover. Better that they wonder why one of us was barefoot than why one of us had hooves.

"How does Gladiola know all this?"I asked.
